What’s included, what to bring, how the deposit works, and the answers to the questions we get asked most.
Everything below, in three lines.
Pre-brushed pit blind, decoys staged for you to set, and picked up the same day. Walk-in access with parking close by. You bring guns, shells, waders and a license.
Never per person. 3–5 hunter blinds run $400–$600 a day depending on the season. Blinds for six to eight hunters are available — call for that rate.
A 50% deposit holds the reservation, balance due before the hunt. Once you’re paid in full we send your parking spot, route in, and exact OnX blind pin.
Absolutely. Bringing your dog along is one of the freedoms of hunting with us. Do your own calling, run your own morning — there’s no guide in the pit.
Self-guided means you outfit yourself. Here’s the short list.
Still not covered? Call (337) 852-6950 — we’d rather have a conversation than make a sales pitch.
A flat day rate per blind — not per person. The rate depends on blind size (3–5 vs. 6+) and can vary a little by location. It covers the hunt, a managed brushed blind, and decoys.
Absolutely. Call us to book and we’ll walk through choosing a blind based on your preferred location — or if you’d rather we decide, we’ll do our best to put you in the spot we believe fits you best. Scouted birds somewhere? Tell us and we’ll get you as close as we’ve got. We don’t just assign you a spot and call it done.
For now, all our locations are pre-brushed pit blinds, mostly in rice fields and pasture ground. As we grow, we plan to look into every available option. Landowners — if you’d like us to lease your ground, reach out and we’ll gladly have a conversation.
To start, everything is walk-in access with parking close by. Walking distance varies, so we’ll match you to a spot that fits your comfort level. Have your own side-by-side or four-wheeler? You’re welcome to use it, depending on the property. We’re also looking into drop-off options (for an added cost) if we see enough interest. Boat-access marsh hunts aren’t in this first phase.
Yes to both. Up to two straight days in the same blind, and you can lock in future dates with a deposit as long as they’re open.
Once you’re paid in full and the hunt is close, we send your parking location, route in, and exact OnX blind pin.
A 50% deposit holds your reservation, with the balance due before the hunt. You’re also welcome to pay in full up front.
No big upfront lease cost, access to more than one location, managed and rested blinds, decoys handled, and honest answers on where the birds are. We’ll tell you the truth about a spot instead of just sticking you in any open blind.
Absolutely. Bringing your dog along is one of the freedoms of hunting with us.
No. These are self-guided hunts. You do your own calling, you run your own morning, and nobody is looking over your shoulder. What we manage is the blind itself — brushing it, resting it, and staging the decoys.
Decoys are staged in the blind for you to set the way you want them. We pick them up the same day, every single day, whether the blind was hunted or not — leaving decoys sitting educates birds and hurts the hunting for everybody in the area.
We’ll tell you before you drive out there. We won’t book you into a blind we know isn’t holding birds just to collect a day rate. If conditions don’t line up somewhere, you’ll hear it from us straight.
We run blinds for smaller parties of three to five hunters and larger groups of six to eight. Every rate on this site is priced per blind, per day — there are no per-person fees, no surprise charges, and no hidden costs. Pricing for 6–8 hunter blinds varies by location, so give us a call.
Yes. Every hunter needs a valid Louisiana hunting license with the appropriate waterfowl stamps, plus a federal duck stamp. Black bellied whistling duck season requires a separate special permit. Licenses are not included in the blind rate.
Should you need to cancel your booking, your deposit will be non-refundable. However, you can transfer your deposit to another available date at the discretion of the outfitter. The outfitter will make reasonable efforts to find a suitable alternative date, but rescheduling is not guaranteed and depends on availability.
Yes. A private blind for the day with no guide in the pit works well for corporate trips — give us a call and we’ll match your group to the right blind.
Bookings for the 2026/27 Louisiana waterfowl season open in early August. Call (337) 852-6950 to reserve your blind, or book directly through the widget on this site.
Our blinds are West Zone, based out of Gueydan in the heart of the South Louisiana rice country. For now, all our locations are pre-brushed pit blinds, mostly in rice fields and pasture ground — as we grow, we plan to look into every available option.
You won’t get the exact coordinates until the hunt is close. Once you’re paid in full we send your parking location, route in, and exact OnX blind pin. That keeps the blinds from getting scouted and burned by people who never booked.
