01 The Open Blind Difference

Duck hunting in South Louisiana used to be something anybody could do. That’s gotten harder and a lot more expensive — $30,000, $40,000 leases, membership clubs, all of it. We think that’s backwards.

02 Day Leases

Pick your season. Pick your blind.

Four day-rate blind leases across the South Louisiana season, from the nine days of teal in September through the big ducks and geese of January. Every rate is per blind, per day.

03 How We Manage A Blind

Brushed blinds. Daily decoy pick up.

Every blind we operate has decoys set before you arrive and picked up the same day — every single day, whether the blind is hunted or not. We’ve seen firsthand what happens when decoys are left sitting for days at a time: it educates birds, pressures areas unnecessarily, and hurts hunting opportunities for everyone. We refuse to operate that way.

We also won’t book you into a blind we know isn’t holding birds just because you’re willing to pay. If conditions aren’t right, we’ll tell you.

How We Operate
04 Why Book With Us

What you get for a flat day rate.

No big upfront lease cost, access to more than one location, and honest answers on where the birds are.

01

Rested, brushed blinds

Pre-brushed pit blinds in rice fields and pasture ground, kept rested between hunts. The blind is ready when your group pulls up — nothing for you to build, cut, or repair.

02

Decoys handled

Decoys staged in the blind for you to set the way you like them, then picked up the same day so the birds never learn the spread. This is the part most operations skip.

03

You pick the location

Call to book and we walk through choosing a blind with you. Scouted birds somewhere? Tell us and we’ll get you as close as we’ve got. We don’t just assign you a spot and call it done.

04

Straight answers

We grew up hunting these marshes, fields and coastal habitats. We know how birds move and how weather affects them — and we’ll tell you the truth about a spot instead of filling a date on a calendar.

05 How It Works

Four steps from call to blind.

Straightforward on purpose. No club application, no membership vote, no lease paperwork.

STEP 01

Call us

We’d rather have a conversation than make a sales pitch. Tell us your dates, your group size, and where you’d like to be.

STEP 02

Pick your blind

We walk through the available locations together — or you can leave it to us and we’ll put you where we believe fits you best.

STEP 03

Hold it with 50%

A 50% deposit holds your reservation, with the balance due before the hunt. Pay in full up front if you’d rather.

STEP 04

Get your pin

Once you’re paid in full and the hunt is close, we send your parking location, route in, and exact OnX blind pin.

06 For Landowners

Got a blind sitting empty?

We work directly with landowners, farmers and property managers to generate additional income from existing hunting opportunities — while you keep control over who accesses your property. Responsible hunters, managed access, fewer headaches.

If you own farmland, marsh, pasture or waterfowl property in South Louisiana, we’d love to have a conversation. No pressure, no obligation. Just local people working with local people.
